It’s done: A new date has been found for the first Austrian edition of EuroSkills in close coordination with the European partners after intensive months of negotiations, as Josef Herk, EuroSkills 2021 initiator and President of WKO Styria, announces: “We have not given up and have worked hard towards this day. I am all the more pleased to be able to announce that our European Skills Championships – EuroSkills – can take place from 22 to 26 September 2021. We are doing everything we can, with unbroken enthusiasm and verve, to implement EuroSkills in Austria in autumn 2021 and to make it an international showcase for education. Qualified training and our young professionals are the future of the countries, the future of Europe. Especially now, we need a strong signal for European youth. We are facing enormous challenges in the coming years, which we cannot master without the next generation, without the young professionals in Europe”.
